Dark Frosty Ringneck

 

Dark Frosty Official ADA Description:  

  • Body ranges from dark slate blue to near "Wild" color

  • Except it lacks the violet head and breast. 

  • Flights and mid-feathers on wings are grizzled (Frosted). 

  • May be white in the tail. 

  • Neck ring is black.

Dark Frosty

This dark frosty has exceptionally white grizzling on each of his wings shown above. He also has white on the tip of his tail and some white patches on his head. The frosty feathers are not obvious until you spread the wings.
