| This pair of wild (Officially "Dark") ringneck
doves have brown bodies and black flight feathers. "Wild" is a
descriptive term. These doves were raised in captivity. Their heads and
breasts are a pale lilac color (officially violet.) Their eyes are red
and legs are almost purple. Their bills are black. Each has a black neck
ring. These are very aggressive birds and should be isolated in a cage.
In an aviary community, they will beat up on all of the other
doves. |
